Burn plant

Family: Xanthorrhoceaceae

Medical use: Constipation, wounds and burnt, tinea pedis (fungi / fungus on foot)

Parts: Juice extract of outer layer of leafs. Gel of inner part of leafs

Side Effect:

  • It can damage kidneys and other organs in high dose.
  • Can cause alergic reaction by some persons.
  • It asserted that 8g of plant can be deadly.
  • If you have genital bleeding or bleeding hemorrhoid dont ever use without consulting a doctor

Drug interactions:

  • Accumulating contents of aloe vera can distort the balance of water and minerals in kidney. It blocks absorbation of drugs for kidney disorders.
  • Heart glycosides, anti-arrhythmia drugs, diuretics.
  • Licorice (roots).


  • Not use under 12 age.
  • Not use longer than one week to threat constipation, only use when other precautions dont work.
  • Not suitable for use of patience, which have intestine or kidney illness.

How to use:



Juice extract of outer layer of leaf(2:1, water): Extract, which contains %30 Hydroxyanthracene, once a day, before sleep, max 100mg. Smallest dose that works should be arranged.


Wounds, burns, wounds with inflamation:

Gel of inner part of leaf: Pomade, contains aloe vera gel should be used.

Also water, aloe vera juice mixture (200ml:10ml) can used to clean inflamation by wound. Bandages can be moisted with pure aloe vera juice-gel can to treat wounds faster, change your bandage twice a day.

tinea pedis (foot fungi):

Mix 20ml of aloe vera juice with 1lt of hot water, keep foots 10min in it. Than wash foots strongly with same water, than towel. Also pure juise should spread on itching areas.

In Egypt some 6000 years old aloe vera drawings are found. First record of medical use of plant dated 2000bc due to archeological evidences.

Seminole tribe of native Americans named it as elixir of life/youth and some medicine recipes with aloe vera of Mayan culture are still used. Armys of past have taken this plant along to war, because of its wound healing qualities.

Considered that aloe vera originates to south Africa or Arabian Peninsula but it growns in America, India, Anatolia, Canary Islands in wild.

Altough results of clinical researches are controversial about it, it can help by treatments of symptoms of skin disorders like eczema, psoriasis etc.

Content: 75 potentially active constituents:vitamins, enzymes (aliiase, alkaline phosphatase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, lipase), minerals, sugars (alprogen [antialergic], glucomannan, a polysaccharide, and gibberellin, a growth hormone, interacts with growth factor receptors and significantly increases collagen synthesis after topical and oral Aloe vera), lignin, saponins, salicylic acids and amino acids. Vitamins: It contains vitamins A (beta-carotene), C and E, which are antioxidants. It also contains vitamin B12, folic acid, and choline
