Medical use: Prostate enlargement (BPH), diuretic, unsatisfied need of pee (incomplete pee), hair loss

Drug interaction:
  • İf you recive a prostate cancer treatment dont use at least before asking your doctor
Warnings:
  • Not suitable for use of woman and childiren.
  • It shouldnt be confused with blackthorn (P.spinosa)

How to Use:

Internaly: 

Prostate enlargement (BPH), unsatisfied need of pee (incomplete pee): Soft extract (120:1, dichloromethane): 25-50mg dose, max 100mg a day

Externaly: 

Hair Loss: Some preperations of barks can used against hair loss and skin moisturizer

Most species of Prunus have a nectar that attracts herbivores, thereby helping to protect agricultural crops and plants. But wild prunus species are endangered because of the collection of their bark for pharmaceutical production.

The acids in it (ursolic, oleanolic, lauric, v.v.) partially proved to be protective against prostate enlargement and prostate cancer cells, researches continues.

It shouldnt confused with blackthorn (P.spinosa).
